JioHotstar has announced the launch of its brand-new reality show titled Pitch To Get Rich, produced by Dharmatic Entertainment and hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar. The series promises to bring together fashion and entrepreneurship on one platform, giving young designers the chance to shine.

The show will feature 14 upcoming fashion founders from across India. They will not only showcase their creative clothing collections but also pitch their business ideas to investors. The competition offers a massive funding pool of ₹40 crore, which will be awarded to the most promising entrepreneurs. The series will run for eight episodes and aims to create a space where creativity meets business opportunity.
The panel of investors includes Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and industrialist Navin Jindal. Each episode will also feature celebrity guests such as Saif Ali Khan, Malaika Arora, Ananya Panday, Shibani Akhtar, Manish Malhotra, Sara Ali Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Manushi Chhillar. With such a glamorous lineup, the show promises both fashion sparkle and exciting entertainment.

One of the main goals of Pitch To Get Rich is to give designers from smaller towns and less privileged backgrounds an equal chance. Sanjay Nigam, founder of the Fashion Entrepreneur Fund, explained that there is a big gap in the industry. Many young designers with fresh and global-worthy ideas lack the platform to reach investors and audiences. He said, “We are giving them the fuel and showing their work to the world. Since the show will be released globally, their designs will get international exposure.”
The series is not only about fashion shows but also about building sustainable brands. By combining glamour, mentorship, and funding, JioHotstar aims to democratize fashion entrepreneurship in India. For young designers, it is an opportunity to move from local labels to global recognition.
