Producer Anto Joseph has shared exciting details about the upcoming film MMMN, directed by Mahesh Narayanan. The film marks the grand comeback of superstar Mammootty, who has returned to the set after almost seven months. Speaking to the media, Anto expressed his happiness and relief at Mammootty’s return, calling it a very special moment for the entire team.
Anto Joseph Reveals MMMN Shoot, Release Plans
According to Anto Joseph, Mammootty was in a cheerful mood when he joined the cast and crew in Hyderabad. He spent time interacting with director Mahesh Narayanan and the media. Anto said the actor is always eager to take up meaningful roles, and this film gives him such an opportunity.
The producer also revealed the upcoming shooting schedules. The team will first complete a week-long shoot in Hyderabad, after which they will move to the United Kingdom for a nine-day schedule starting from October 15. Another important schedule will take place in Ernakulam in the first week of November, which will feature big stars like Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, and Nayanthara. Anto confirmed that the entire shooting will be wrapped up by December 15.

The makers are planning to release the film around April 2026, coinciding with the festival of Vishu. Though actor Mohanlal had earlier revealed that the film is titled Patriot, the producers are yet to officially confirm it.
Apart from Mammootty, the film also stars Darshana Rajendran and Revathy, adding more strength to its cast. Anto Joseph is producing the film along with CR Salim and Subhash Manuel. On the technical side, the cinematography is handled by Manush Nandan, who is known for his work in Dunki.

With such a star-studded cast and an interesting political espionage theme, MMMN is one of the most awaited Malayalam films.
