Anya Singh plays the manager of the series’ main character, Aasmaan Singh, played by Lakhsya. During the show’s preview launch last month, Shah Rukh Khan compared Anya’s character to his manager Pooja Dadlani. Fans misunderstood this comment and thought Anya was Pooja’s daughter. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Anya explained, “It was surprising. People misunderstood when Shah Rukh sir compared me to Pooja. There was a hiccup in translating it.”

She also added with a smile, “But I never denied it. I went with it. Our show is all about myths, so I thought, ‘Why bust all of them?’” Anya revealed that when she met Pooja at the screening, they both laughed about the rumor. “People think I am her daughter, and both of us just laughed. Neither of us was affected by it,” she said.
The Ba**ds of Bollywood is directed by Aryan Khan and produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. Along with Anya Singh, the series stars Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol, Mona Singh, Raghav Juyal, and Manoj Pahwa. The show is streaming on Netflix and has received positive responses from both critics and viewers.
