Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar also praised Mohanlal, saying that watching him act is like sitting in the front row of the greatest acting school. He called the honour “richly deserved.”

Actress Manju Warrier, who shared screen space with Mohanlal in Kanmadam, expressed gratitude for his inspiration across generations. Producer Antony Perumbavoor, a close associate of Mohanlal, said the award is not only a recognition but a celebration of a lifetime dedicated to cinema.
