Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited film OG is all set for a grand release, and the Andhra Pradesh government has given it a major boost. The state has officially approved special shows and a ticket price hike for ten days, from September 25 to October 4, creating huge excitement among fans and the film industry.

According to the official order, ticket prices in single screens will increase by ₹125, while multiplex tickets will see an additional ₹150 hike on top of the existing rates. Adding to the frenzy, benefit shows have also been permitted in certain areas, where tickets may go as high as ₹1000. These measures are expected to create massive demand during the film’s opening days.
This move is not entirely new for Andhra Pradesh. Earlier, Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu was given similar permission for higher ticket prices and special shows. However, that film could not take full advantage of the opportunity due to weak content. Trade experts believe OG will be different because it promises a mix of powerful action, emotional drama, and mass entertainment that appeals to a wider audience.

With Andhra Pradesh extending strong support, all eyes are now on Telangana. The Telugu film industry is eagerly waiting for clarity from the Telangana government regarding permissions for special shows and possible ticket price hikes.
