Actor Teja Sajja’s much-awaited action-fantasy film, ‘Mirai’, has officially received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). This certification indicates that the film is suitable for all audiences, though parental guidance is suggested for children under 12. The announcement comes just days before the movie’s global release on September 12, 2025.

‘Mirai’ is produced by People Media Factory and marks another significant project in Teja Sajja’s career following his superhero film ‘Hanu-Man’ (2024). While ‘Hanu-Man’ revolved around Lord Hanuman, the trailer for ‘Mirai’ suggests a story inspired by Lord Ram, combining mysticism and adventure. The film is packed with VFX-led visuals, reminiscent of popular fantasy worlds like Harry Potter, Narnia, The Lord of the Rings, and The Hobbit.

‘Mirai’ will be released in eight languages and presented in both 2D and 3D formats. The North India release will be handled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, while distribution in Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam regions will be managed by Homable Films, AGS Entertainment, and Sree Gokulam Movies respectively.
