His sister, Kasey, shared a heartfelt post on Instagram remembering her brother. She described him as a kind, loving, and multi-talented person. Apart from being a caring husband, brother, and friend, Todd was also known for his many hobbies: cooking, baking, woodworking, traveling, music, and camping.
Kasey said Todd had a curious mind and never stopped learning. She remembered how he always helped others without judgment and made everyone laugh with his humor. For her and many others, “to know Todd was to love him.”
After his passing, a GoFundMe campaign was started to support Todd’s wife, Sheila. The fundraiser helped cover funeral costs and daily expenses. The community came together and raised around CAD 58,000. Sheila expressed deep gratitude, saying the support helped her cope with the painful loss.
The tribute in My Life With The Walter Boys season 2 was a touching reminder of Todd Giroux’s contribution to the show and his lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
