She shared the news in an emotional post on Instagram, where she spoke about her struggles and also expressed deep gratitude to her friends, family, and colleagues from the film industry.

Tannishtha Chatterjee revealed that the last eight months have been extremely difficult for her, especially since she lost her father to the same disease not long ago. In her heartfelt note, she said the diagnosis shook her world, as she is the main support system for her 70-year-old mother and her young daughter.
