Sooraj said that he, Aditya Chopra, and Karan Johar were “born with golden spoons.” This means they grew up in comfortable and wealthy families. Because of this, they did not face many struggles or hardships in life. Sooraj explained that when they started making films in the 1990s, they wanted to show a world full of fairy tales. At that time, the audience loved watching such family-friendly and happy stories. So, their films reflected that feel-good, idealistic world.

Sooraj’s movies are known for focusing on family values, traditions, and love. Some of his famous films include “Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!,” “Hum Saath Saath Hain,” and “Vivah.” Unlike Karan Johar or Aditya Chopra, Sooraj avoids themes like crime or complex relationship problems. He says he is the most conservative among the three and prefers to make films that are clean and family-oriented.

Sooraj’s new television show, “Manpasand Ki Shaadi,” is a return to his signature style. The show will explore love and arranged marriage in modern India while keeping Indian traditions and values at the center. It is produced by Rajshri Productions and will air on Colours TV starting August 11.
