Popular singer-rapper Honey Singh has released the music video for his song One Thousand Miles just a day after facing legal trouble over another track, Millionaire. The Punjab State Women’s Commission had recently issued him a notice for using allegedly offensive and derogatory language towards women in Millionaire. He has been asked to appear before the panel on August 11, 2025.

On Friday, Honey Singh shared the link to the new music video in a collaborative Instagram post with music label T-Series. The caption read, “One Song, Endless Love! #OneThousandMiles Video out now.” The release came only hours after he teased the song in his Instagram Story.
The controversy began on Thursday, when the Women’s Commission took notice of the lyrics in Millionaire, a track from Honey Singh’s 2024 comeback album Glory. The album also included popular songs like Payal, Jatt Mehkma, Bonita, and High On Me. Singer Karan Aujla has also been summoned for similar concerns over his song MF Gabhru.

The song One Thousand Miles is not new — it was originally part of Honey Singh’s 2014 album Desi Kalakaar. The new music video, which runs for about 6.35 minutes, presents a fresh storyline. In it, Honey Singh plays a character who keeps getting mysterious phone calls from his deceased girlfriend, played by Mandy Takhar. The calls lead him to believe she wants to meet after many years. The story takes a darker turn when it is revealed he is in therapy, but the haunting calls still continue, ending the video in a chilling loop.
