Shilpa Shirodkar Married Banker, Never Felt Less
Shilpa said she fell in love with Aparesh Ranjit, a banker who holds two MBA degrees. Even though Shilpa did not finish school and is a 10th fail, she never felt less than him. She said, “He is very intelligent and simple. I can talk to him and his friends about anything, and I never feel small in front of him.”

After marriage, Shilpa Shirodkar moved to New Zealand and focused on her family life. She mentioned that she doesn’t regret quitting acting. “If I had married someone living in India, maybe I would have continued acting. But going abroad with him felt like the right thing for me.”
The couple recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary, and Shilpa posted a sweet message on social media saying, “Through thick and thin, I would still choose you. Love and respect you more than ever.”

Shilpa Shirodkar also said her decision to marry Aparesh was very quick. She agreed to the marriage just one and a half days after meeting him. What impressed her the most was his honesty.
After a 13-year break, Shilpa made a comeback on TV in 2013 with the show Ek Mutthi Aasmaan. In 2024, she also appeared in Bigg Boss 18. Shilpa is the sister of Namrata Shirodkar and sister-in-law of Mahesh Babu.
