Bollywood actor and director Anupam Kher’s latest movie Tanvi The Great had its grand premiere in Mumbai on Thursday, July 17, 2025. The screening took place at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre and was attended by many celebrities from the film industry.

Actors like Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Krushna Abhishek, Tiku Sharda, Gulshan Grover, and Anoop Jalota were present at the event. Anupam Kher’s wife, Kirron Kher, and their son Sikandar Kher also attended the screening. The event became even more special as Anupam Kher’s niece, Tanvi who inspired the film was also seen posing with the lead actors.

The film stars Anupam Kher and Shubhangi Dutt in important roles. It tells an emotional and inspirational story about a girl with autism and how she overcomes difficulties with the support of her family and the Indian Army. Before this Mumbai premiere, Tanvi The Great was also screened in Delhi at a special event attended by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. CM Gupta appreciated the film and said that every child should watch it. She even expressed the wish to arrange special screenings for children in schools through the Delhi government.

The film had already gained international attention during its festival screenings in Cannes, New York, Houston, and London. It received standing ovations at events held at the National Defence Academy and the Southern Command in Pune.
Tanvi The Great is now set for a theatrical release on July 18, 2025.
