Special Ops 2 Team Visits I4C, Meets Cyber Experts and President Ahead of Series Release

The cast and creators of the upcoming web series Special Ops 2 made a special visit to the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) in Delhi. The visit was part of their efforts to better understand the reality of cyber threats, which plays a big role in the storyline of their show. The series will stream on JioHotstar from July 18, 2025.

Actors Kay Kay Menon, Parmeet Sethi, and director Shivam Nair took part in the visit. They interacted with top cybercrime officials and learned about real cyber threats and digital protection work happening in India.

Kay Kay Menon, who plays Himmat Singh, called the visit “eye-opening”. He said watching real-time data and threat interception gave him great respect for cyber officers who are the “real soldiers” protecting India’s digital borders.

Parmeet Sethi, who plays Naresh Chaddha, said he felt honored to meet the senior cybersecurity officials. He shared that listening to their daily experiences was humbling and added more depth to their performance in the show.

Director Shivam Nair explained that Special Ops 2 focuses on cyber intelligence and the real challenges faced by the country. Meeting those working in this field helped the team connect deeply with the theme of their series.

Later, the team also visited the Rashtrapati Bhavan, where they watched the Change of Guard ceremony. Kay Kay Menon shared how surreal the moment was, standing in such an important place for the country. Actor Karan Tacker, who plays Farooq Ali, said it was a special experience and reminded him of his journey with Special Ops.
