The Centre Court was filled with star spectators. Among them was Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli, who attended the match with his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. Kohli was visibly impressed and later shared a post on Instagram calling Djokovic a “gladiator.” Djokovic responded to Kohli with a warm message: “Thank you for supporting.”
This win marked Djokovic’s 100th victory at Wimbledon, making him only the third player in history to achieve this milestone, after Roger Federer and Martina Navratilova. Djokovic is now aiming for a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title and his eighth Wimbledon trophy, which would also make him the oldest Grand Slam winner in the Open Era.

Djokovic will next face 22nd seed Flavio Cobolli in the quarterfinals. On the other side, Jannik Sinner, who advanced after Grigor Dimitrov retired due to injury, will play against Ben Shelton.
