Ranbir Kapoor has completed shooting for the first part of the much-awaited film Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film is one of the biggest projects in Bollywood right now and fans have been waiting eagerly for updates. According to reports, the first look of the film will be revealed on July 3, in 9 major cities of India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and more.
Ranbir Kapoor Wraps Ramayana shoot, First Look Soon
A video from the film set has gone viral on social media. In the video, Ranbir Kapoor is seen giving an emotional speech on the last day of the shoot. He thanked director Nitesh Tiwari, producer Namit Malhotra, and his co-actors including Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Ravi Dubey. Ranbir also shared a warm hug with Ravi Dubey, who plays Lakshman in the movie.
Ranbir will be seen in the role of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi will play Sita. Yash, known as KGF, will be seen as Ravan. Other important roles include Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi.
The film is being made on a massive budget of ₹835 crore, making it one of the most expensive Indian films ever. The story of Ramayana will be told in two parts. The first part is set to release on Diwali 2026, and the second part will come out on Diwali 2027.
Directed by Dangal fame Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana is expected to be a visually stunning and emotionally powerful film. The movie is being produced by Yash and Namit Malhotra, who are putting in all efforts to bring the epic story of Ramayana to life on the big screen.
