Actors Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur recently visited Kolkata to promote their upcoming movie Metro…In Dino. The two stars had a fun-filled day in the City of Joy, meeting fans and spending time at some of the city’s iconic spots.

One of their first stops was Eden Gardens, where they met former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly. They also interacted with fans during the Bengal Pro T20 match. Even though it rained, their energy and excitement brought smiles to many faces. According to a social media post by the Bengal Pro T20 League, both stars showed support for teams like Murshidabad Kings and Kueens.
After Eden Gardens, Sara and Aditya headed to Olive Café & Bar on Shakespeare Sarani. There, they took selfies, signed autographs, and had friendly conversations with fans who were thrilled to see them up close. To end the day, they visited Sourav Ganguly’s home, where they spent some private time with the cricket legend.

Metro…In Dino is a spiritual sequel to Anurag Basu’s 2007 hit Life in a… Metro. The film explores different love stories and emotions in today’s modern world. It features a big star cast, including Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sensharma, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Bengali actor Saswata Chatterjee.

The music for the film is composed by Pritam. At a recent music launch in Mumbai, Pritam paid tribute to the late singer KK. Aditya Roy Kapur also performed live at the event, and singer Papon sang a song from the film’s album.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu, Metro…In Dino is set to hit theatres on July 4, 2025. The movie promises heartfelt stories and emotions, just like its predecessor. Fans are eagerly waiting to see how this modern take on love and relationships unfolds on the big screen.
