At first, acting was never in her plans. Coming from a middle-class family with no film background, she focused on building a secure and respected career. After college, she worked as a copywriter in an advertising agency. During this time, people around her noticed her confidence and screen presence. Encouraged by them, she started modeling as a side activity. Slowly, this led her to try her luck in films.

Her first break came in 2013 with the film ‘Madras Cafe’ where she starred opposite John Abraham. Though her role was small, it made an impact and marked her entry into Bollywood. Instead of waiting for more roles in Hindi cinema, Rashi moved to South Indian films. This decision turned out to be a great one for her career.

She acted in several hit Telugu and Tamil movies, including ‘Bengal Tiger’, ‘Jil’, ‘Sardar’, and ‘Imaikkaa Nodigal’. Her performances received appreciation and helped her gain a strong fanbase. In recent years, she also made a mark on digital platforms. She appeared in the crime thriller series ‘Rudra’ and starred alongside Shahid Kapoor in ‘Farzi’.
