Starring Jitendra Kumar as Sachiv Ji and Neena Gupta in a key role, the show has been a fan-favorite since its beginning. However, this time, the response from viewers has been mixed. Many fans were unhappy with the ending of Season 4 and expressed their disappointment on social media.
Panchayat Season 4 Finale Disappoints Fans Deeply
The final episode of Season 4, titled Dabdaba, received a rating of 8.4 on IMDb. This is the lowest-rated finale in the history of the series. In comparison, the final episodes of previous seasons had much higher ratings—Season 1 ended with 8.8, Season 2 with 9.6, and Season 3 with 9.0. Fans felt that the latest season lost the charm and simplicity that made Panchayat so special in earlier seasons.

Viewers shared their thoughts online, calling the finale slow, boring, and full of unnecessary political drama. Some said the show lacked its usual humor and warmth. Season 4 focused on the Panchayat elections in Phulera village, which brought in a lot of political tension. Although the performances were strong and the direction was good, fans missed the light-hearted and emotional moments that they loved in the first three seasons. Within hours of release, all eight episodes were leaked online, which also affected the show’s official viewership.
