In a fun and light-hearted conversation with Kapil Sharma, Salman shared stories from his life and family, which included a humorous comment about his brother Sohail Khan’s divorce from Seema Sajdeh.
Salman Khan jokes about Sohail-Seema divorce
During the show, Salman recalled how photographer Avinash Gowariker came to stay at their home, Galaxy Apartments, for just a few days until he found a rental house. However, Avinash ended up living with them for years. Salman joked that Avinash liked their home so much that even after finding his own house, he gave it on sublease and continued staying with the Khans.

In the middle of this story, Salman made a funny remark about Sohail and Seema’s marriage. He said that during those days, Sohail had run away to get married, and now even Seema had run away from him. This joke made the audience and other guests, including Archana Puran Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu, burst into laughter.
Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh had a love marriage in 1998, which included an Arya Samaj ceremony followed by a Muslim wedding. They had two sons together, Nirvan and Yohan. The couple separated in 2022 after 24 years of marriage. Since then, Seema has moved on and is reportedly in a relationship with someone else.
