Mahesh, whose real name was Mahesh Kalawadia, was a respected director and producer. He was famous for his regional advertisements, music videos, and Gujarati films. He ran his own production company, Mahesh Jirawala Productions. His 2019 film Cocktail Premi Pag Of Revenge was popular with local audiences. His creative work often highlighted Gujarati culture, and many fans loved his storytelling style.

On the day of the crash, Mahesh had gone out to meet someone at Law Garden. He last spoke to his wife, Hetal, at 1:14 PM, saying he was coming back home. Just minutes later, the plane crashed. When Hetal tried calling again, his phone was off. Since then, his mobile phone and scooter have not been found. His last known location was very close to the crash site. His family has submitted DNA samples to help with the identification process.
Mahesh was also active on social media, where he shared behind-the-scenes clips and updates about his projects. He lived in Naroda with his wife and two children. His friends and fans are remembering him by sharing his videos online, and the Gujarati entertainment industry is mourning his possible loss.
