Before becoming a director, Vikram worked as an actor in films like Polladhavan and Kodiveeran. In 2013, he started directing movies and quickly became known for his sensitive and realistic approach.
His first big success was Madha Yaanai Kootam, which earned him recognition in the film world. Later, in 2023, he directed Raavan Kottam, though it did not do well at the box office. His last film as a director was Theeram Boram, which was about mountain climbing.
