Popular Telugu actor Mahesh Babu has recently received a notice from the Enforcement Directorate (ED). This news has surprised many of his fans and followers. According to reports, the ED is investigating a real estate company named Sai Surya Developers, which Mahesh Babu had promoted as a brand ambassador.
Mahesh Babu Gets ED Notice for Scam
The issue started when the ED found that Sai Surya Developers, along with Surana Group, may have been involved in a financial fraud of nearly Rs. 100 crores. Mahesh Babu was paid to appear in advertisements for this company. Because of his promotion, many people trusted the company and became its customers. However, later it was discovered that the company had cheated many of them.

ED believes that Mahesh Babu received around Rs. 5.9 crores for his work. Out of this, Rs. 3.4 crores were reportedly paid by cheque and Rs. 2.5 crores in cash. The ED is now investigating if the payment in cash was done in the proper legal way or if there were any irregularities.
