Famous Bollywood director Rohit Shetty has shared a heart-touching and surprising story about actress Deepika Padukone. While talking in a recent interview on the YouTube show Game Changers, he revealed that Deepika was four months pregnant when she was shooting for the film Singham Again. Even though she was expecting a baby, she did not let it affect her work. She came to the set and completed her scenes with full dedication and energy. Rohit praised her professionalism and called it a rare example in the film industry.

Rohit also spoke about the strong bond he shares with a few people in Bollywood. He said that there are only two or three people he can call at 2 am without hesitation. Among them are Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Ajay Devgn. He said he is very close to them and trusts them deeply. According to him, such relationships are not easy to find in the film industry today.
Deepika Padukone plays the role of Lady Singham in Singham Again. This film marks her return to Rohit Shetty’s action universe. Earlier, she appeared briefly in his film Cirkus and had also worked with him in the blockbuster Chennai Express in 2013. Her role in Singham Again shows her in a powerful and fierce character, which fans are eagerly waiting to see.
Rohit also spoke about his long friendship with actor Ajay Devgn. Their connection goes back more than 30 years, starting from the time when their fathers worked together in the film industry. Rohit’s father was a stuntman, and Ajay’s father was an action director. This bond has stayed strong over the years, and now Rohit and Ajay have worked together in many hit films like Golmaal and Singham.

The director also shared his opinion about film trial shows. He said that he usually avoids attending them because it becomes difficult to give honest feedback. He believes that if someone invites you to a trial, they expect you to say good things. But if the film is not good, saying so can hurt their feelings. That is why he prefers to stay away from such events.
However, he made an exception once in 2018 when Deepika personally invited him to watch Padmaavat. At that time, Deepika was going through a tough phase, and Rohit agreed to attend the screening to support her. He liked the film and appreciated her performance.
