He confirmed that a new actress has been selected to play the famous character of Dayaben. TMKOC Finally Gets New Dayaben Actress
The original Dayaben, played by Disha Vakani, left the show in 2017. Since then, the makers of the show had been trying to bring her back. Unfortunately, Disha could not return because of her family responsibilities. She is now focused on raising her two children and has decided to stay away from acting for the time being.
