Born in a small village in Andhra Pradesh, Srikanth faced several challenges from an early age. Due to his blindness, many doubted his ability to succeed in academics and life. However, his determination and hard work helped him overcome these barriers. Despite scoring 98% in his Class 12 exams, he was denied admission to Indian engineering colleges, including the IITs. Undeterred, he applied to international universities and secured a place at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), becoming the first international blind student to study there.
