Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has rented out his luxury apartment in Mumbai for ₹2.60 lakh per month. The property, located in the Lodha Marquise building in Lower Parel, is part of the prestigious Lodha Group’s The Park project.

Rohit Sharma Rents Mumbai Apartment
According to property registration documents accessed by Zapkey.com, Rohit Sharma and his father, Gurunath Sharma, originally purchased the apartment in July 2013 for ₹5.45 crore. The flat is situated on the 45th floor and covers an area of 1,298 square feet. Along with the apartment, the tenant will also have access to two parking spaces. The new tenant of this property is a man named Murali Krishnan Nair.
The rental agreement was registered on January 27, 2025. As part of the legal process, a stamp duty of ₹16,300 and a registration fee of ₹1,000 were paid. This is not the first time the cricketer has leased his properties. In January 2024, he rented out two apartments in Bandra West for ₹3 lakh per month. The rental agreement for those apartments mentioned an increase in rent every year, going up to ₹3.41 lakh per month by the third year.
Rohit Sharma has also made other real estate transactions in recent years. In June 2021, he sold a property in Lonavala for ₹5.25 crore. That property covered an area of 6,329 square feet.
The Indian skipper is known for his love of luxury properties and has made several investments in real estate over the years. His decision to rent out his Mumbai apartment adds to his portfolio of property deals, reflecting his keen interest in managing his assets wisely.
