Anushka Sharma, a constant support for her husband Virat Kohli, was once again seen cheering for him during the ongoing 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia. She joined Virat’s brother, Vikas Kohli, in the stands at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) to show her support for Team India on January 3, 2025, during the first day of the final Test match between India and Australia.

Anushka Sharma Cheers for Virat
Anushka was dressed in a black outfit, sitting next to Vikas, and alongside them was Jasprit Bumrah’s wife, Sanjana Ganesan. The trio was spotted clapping and cheering for India as they played. However, when Virat got out after scoring just 17 runs off 69 balls, Anushka’s reaction reflected the disappointment many fans felt. Her sad expression was relatable to everyone watching, as her husband’s wicket fell during a crucial moment.
Earlier, Anushka and Virat celebrated New Year’s 2025 together in Sydney, where a video of them strolling through the city in matching black outfits went viral. The couple, who celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary in December 2024, also had their daughter Vamika and son Akaay with them in Australia.
Virat Kohli has often spoken about Anushka’s unwavering support, acknowledging her role in his success. After scoring his 81st international century in the first Test match of the series in Perth, Virat credited Anushka for being by his side during both good and tough times. He said, “Anushka knows everything that happens behind the scenes when I’m not performing well. She’s always there for me.”
As the final Test match progresses, Anushka continues to stand by her husband and Team India, cheering them on through every moment of the game.
