Actor Hansika Motwani and her businessman husband Sohael Khaturiya have officially ended their marriage. A family court in Bandra, Mumbai, granted the couple a divorce after they filed a petition seeking separation by mutual consent.
The two decided to part ways peacefully after realizing that their relationship was no longer working. The legal process was completed in court, bringing an end to their four-year marriage.

During the court proceedings, it was explained that the couple had lived together only for a limited period after their wedding. Over time, they began facing several issues in their relationship.
Hansika and Sohael discovered that their temperaments, opinions, and lifestyles were quite different. These differences often led to disagreements. Even small matters started turning into arguments, which made it difficult for them to continue living together as a couple.
As the problems continued, the situation became stressful for both of them. Eventually, they decided that separating would be a better solution for their future.
Family Tried to Save the Marriage
Before taking the legal step, family members and close friends tried to help the couple reconcile. They encouraged Hansika Motwani and Sohael Khaturiya to resolve their issues and continue their marriage.
Despite these efforts, the differences between them remained unresolved. After several discussions, the couple mutually agreed that ending the marriage would be the right decision.
Hansika and Sohael had already been living separately since July 2, 2024, which further confirmed their decision to move ahead with a divorce.

The divorce was finalized through mutual consent, which means both parties agreed to separate without any conflict. Hansika Motwani also chose not to claim streedhan or alimony during the legal process.
Both Hansika and Sohael submitted their affidavits in court, confirming that they had no financial claims or demands against each other. This helped the legal proceedings move smoothly.
