Television actor Gaurav Khanna, who won Bigg Boss 19, recently shared a vlog where he answered several questions from his fans. In the video, he spoke about his life after the reality show, the love he receives from fans, his marriage with Akanksha Chamola, and whether he will return to the popular TV show Anupamaa.
Gaurav said that Bigg Boss has changed his life more on a personal level than in terms of his career. Earlier, people mostly recognised him by the characters he played in different television shows. Many would call him by the names of his roles such as Anuj Kapadia, Abir, Sharman, or Kavin.
However, things are different now. Gaurav shared that people now recognise him by his real name. Even during a recent trip to Dubai, fans called out “GK” and “Gaurav” when they saw him. For the actor, this change feels very special because it reflects the strong connection he has built with audiences over the years.

The actor also revealed that after winning Bigg Boss 19, many fans visit his house every day to meet him. He said that around 50 to 60 people come regularly just to see him and talk to him.

Gaurav explained that he feels grateful for the love people have shown him during and after the show. Because fans voted for him and supported him throughout the journey, he tries to meet them whenever possible. Sometimes fans even come late at night after finishing their work.
He said this situation may be surprising, but for an actor it is actually a positive thing. Actors work hard to earn recognition, and meeting people who appreciate their work feels rewarding.

During the vlog, Gaurav also spoke about his behaviour inside the Bigg Boss house. Many viewers noticed that he remained calm and patient during difficult situations.
He explained that this is how he behaves in real life as well. Instead of reacting immediately, he prefers to respond after thinking carefully. According to him, reacting is often impulsive, while responding is more thoughtful and strategic.
Gaurav added that not everyone may understand his personality, and that is completely fine. He believes that every person has a different vibe, and it is not necessary that everyone will connect with him.
Will Gaurav Khanna return to Anupamaa?
One of the most common questions he receives is about his return to the Star Plus show Anupamaa, where he played the popular character Anuj Kapadia.
Gaurav clarified that the decision is not in his hands. It depends on the show’s producer Rajan Shahi and the channel Star Plus. If the story offers something interesting for his character, he would be happy to return. But if the storyline is not exciting, he would prefer not to come back.
He also shared that Anuj Kapadia is one of his most loved roles, and he feels happy that audiences still remember the character.
His love story with wife Akanksha Chamola
Gaurav also spoke about his love marriage with actress Akanksha Chamola. The couple met during an audition for a show that neither of them was very interested in doing.
Interestingly, Gaurav had almost decided not to attend the audition. But after the casting director insisted several times, he finally went. That is where he met Akanksha for the first time.
Looking back, the actor believes that meeting her that day was destiny, as it eventually led to their relationship and marriage.
