Instead of film stars, Kapil Sharma invited well-known educators Alakh Pandey, Nitin Vijay, and Khan Sir. During the show, Kapil asked Khan Sir about the much-talked-about Rs 107 crore job offer that he once rejected. His answer left everyone surprised.
Khan Sir Talks About His Student Days Struggles
Khan Sir shared emotional memories from his college days. He said that as a student, he could not afford to travel comfortably or pay high coaching fees. He spoke about standing near train doors during journeys because reserved tickets were too expensive.
He explained that even today, many students cannot afford costly coaching centres that charge lakhs of rupees. Those memories stayed with him. He said he never forgot the difficulties he faced and always wanted to make education affordable for others.
Why Khan Sir Rejected Rs 107 Crore Offer
When Kapil asked him directly about the Rs 107 crore offer, Khan Sir said he was approached to join a company and increase their fees. He shared that accepting the offer would have meant making education more expensive for students.
He added that the person who offered him that amount wanted to use his popularity to raise coaching prices instantly. Khan Sir made it clear that he did not want to follow that path. He even said that the company which made the offer does not exist anymore. For him, money was not bigger than his mission of keeping education affordable.
Proud of His Students’ Success
During the episode, Khan Sir also spoke proudly about his students. He revealed that during the lockdown, he taught many students at a fee of just Rs 11. Today, many of those students are working in different departments, including jobs at Mumbai Railway Station.
He said there is hardly any department now where one of his students is not working. His words showed that he values his students’ growth more than financial gains.
