Director Srikanth Odela has shared a deeply emotional message for actor Nani on the occasion of his birthday, and it has become a special moment for fans of The Paradise. The filmmaker expressed gratitude, respect, and affection for the Telugu star, calling him the biggest reason behind his growth as a director.

Taking to social media, Srikanth Odela opened up about his journey with Nani while working on The Paradise. He revealed that every time Nani told him, “Ni istam Srikanth” (It is your wish), he actually heard, “I trust you Srikanth.” That trust, he said, pushed him to give his blood and soul to the film.
In his heartfelt note, Srikanth admitted that he broke many of Nani’s usual cinema rules. He changed his working pattern, disturbed his release date streak, and even experimented with his style of filmmaking. Despite all this, Nani stood by him.
The director wrote that every time he “broke” Nani’s rules, the actor “built” him stronger as a filmmaker. He added that nobody had trusted him as much as Nani did.
Nani’s Dedication for The Paradise
Srikanth Odela also shared examples of Nani’s dedication for The Paradise. He said he asked the actor to wear braids for the role, and Nani agreed without hesitation. When he suggested a bold tattoo with a slur on his hand, Nani once again said yes. Even after countless retakes during shooting, the actor remained calm and supportive.
The director confessed that he never told Nani directly how much this meant to him, but he constantly wonders why the actor trusts him so much. He believes he might find the answer through their journey with The Paradise.
The Paradise After Dasara Success
This film marks the second collaboration between Nani and Srikanth Odela after the success of Dasara. The 2023 film was both critically appreciated and commercially successful, crossing the ₹100 crore mark. It also established Srikanth as a promising new director in Telugu cinema.
