Music composer and filmmaker Palash Muchhal recently received a major relief from the Bombay High Court in a defamation dispute involving Marathi actor-producer Vidnyan Mane. The court has restrained Mane from making any statements against Muchhal and his mother, calling the remarks “prima facie insinuating.”

Mane claimed that Muchhal had cheated him of approximately Rs 40 lakh related to a film project that never materialized.
