Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab is now preparing for its digital release after completing its run in theatres. The film, which released in cinemas on January 9, 2026, arrived with high expectations due to Prabhas’ massive fan base and the promise of a horror-comedy genre. While the theatrical response turned out to be mixed, the film has still managed to draw attention for its scale, cast, and box office numbers.
Where to Watch The Raja Saab Online
After its theatrical outing, The Raja Saab is set to stream on Jio Hotstar. The OTT platform has secured the post-theatrical digital rights for the film. Once it premieres online, viewers will be able to watch the movie in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. This wide-language release is expected to help the film reach a larger audience across India.
As of now, the official streaming date has not been announced by the makers or the platform. However, the digital premiere is expected to happen soon, keeping in line with the usual OTT window for big-budget releases.
Big Deal for Digital Rights
The streaming rights of The Raja Saab are said to be valued at around Rs 80 crore. This amount reportedly covers all language versions of the film. There is also an interesting clause in the agreement. If the film earns more at the box office after crossing the Rs 200 crore mark, the makers will receive an additional Rs 10 crore for every extra Rs 100 crore earned. This arrangement is seen as a supportive move for the producers, especially given the film’s massive budget.
The Raja Saab was made on a very large budget, which is said to have crossed Rs 400 crore. The film opened well in theatres and recorded strong collections during its initial days. However, as word-of-mouth spread, the pace of collections slowed down. Despite this, the film has managed to cross Rs 250 crore worldwide, which is a significant figure, even if it falls short of expectations set for a Prabhas release.

Story and Cast Details of The Raja Saab

As Raju spends more time in the house, hidden secrets from the past begin to surface, linking the family’s history to the eerie events around him.
The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, and Nidhhi Agerwal in key roles. The music and background score are composed by Thaman S, adding to the film’s horror-comedy mood.
