Rani Mukerji also spoke about Maya from Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, a woman who challenges societal expectations to find her own happiness. Similarly, Naina Mathur from Hichki, a teacher with Tourette’s syndrome, fights against prejudice to achieve her dreams. Rani emphasized that playing these characters helped her connect deeply with real-life struggles faced by women in India.
