The new Tomb Raider series is currently in production, and Sophie Turner is playing the iconic role of Lara Croft. Known earlier for her role as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, Sophie is now seen in a completely different avatar. Fans were impressed by her fit body, confident posture, and action-ready appearance. The positive reactions have raised expectations for the series, with many viewers saying they are excited to watch Sophie lead the franchise.
To prepare for this demanding role, Sophie went through intense physical training. In a recent interview, she revealed that she trained eight hours a day, five days a week, starting from February last year. She admitted that she had never really worked out seriously before this role, which made the training even more challenging. Building muscle and strength took months of hard work and discipline.
Sophie also shared that she discovered new things about her body during this journey. She said she has a long-term back problem, which made training tougher. However, she also learned how much effort it takes to get into action-hero shape, especially for someone without a fitness background. Despite the pain and struggle, she stayed committed and pushed herself every day.

Talking about her earlier acting roles, Sophie said Game of Thrones did not require this level of physical effort. This time, she enjoyed learning how to fight, punch, and perform action scenes instead of just being the one who gets hurt on screen. Her dedication clearly shows in her transformation, and fans are now eagerly waiting to see her bring Lara Croft to life on screen.
