Pamela Anderson Felt ‘Yucky’ Seeing Seth Rogen at Golden Globes Over Series About Her Painful Past

Pamela Anderson recently opened up about feeling uncomfortable seeing Seth Rogen at the 2026 Golden Globes. The actress explained that it was difficult for her because Rogen produced the Hulu series Pam & Tommy, which depicted a very painful period of her life. The series, which included her relationship with ex-husband Tommy Lee and the infamous 1995 stolen sex tape scandal, was made without her permission. Pamela said this left her feeling upset and “yucky” when she encountered him at the awards show.

During an interview on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show, Pamela explained that she left the event right after presenting an award and went straight to bed. She said seeing Rogen in the audience made her feel uneasy. “I just felt like, ‘Eh,’” Pamela shared. “How can someone make a TV series out of the difficult times in your life, and I’m a living, breathing human being over here?” she said. Despite this, she tried to remain calm and composed during the ceremony.

Pamela also mentioned that the experience hurt because the series represented the “worst time” in her life. She admitted that it made her feel overlooked, even though she has been busy working on multiple movie projects. Anderson expressed that she hoped Rogen might eventually apologize for producing the series without speaking to her first. While an apology would matter to her, she emphasized that she is focusing on moving forward and not letting it affect her too much.

In her previous Netflix documentary, Pamela, A Love Story, Anderson had already explained that she wished the producers of Pam & Tommy had sought her permission before creating the show. She said she had no desire to watch the series because it reopens painful memories. “Nobody really knows what we were going through at the time,” she stated, highlighting how the show used her private struggles for entertainment.

Despite the awkward encounter and complicated feelings, Pamela said she is trying to stay positive. She acknowledged that there are worse problems in the world and that she doesn’t want the situation to drag her down. Anderson’s honesty about her experience sheds light on how celebrities sometimes face personal challenges being portrayed on screen without their consent. Her story reminds everyone that real people are behind the headlines and entertainment stories.
