Yan An Responds to Allegations, Clarifies Controversies Publicly
In his response, Yan An denied all the allegations. He clarified that the woman mentioned in the post, Ms. Du, is actually his cousin, and shared a photo to prove their family relationship. He explained that his team was recruited professionally and that there was no private contact with fans beyond work. His studio also issued a formal statement calling the allegations “seriously false,” confirming that they have collected evidence for possible legal action. His agency, Youhug Media, supported him and confirmed that he follows professional ethics.
Yan An also addressed claims about his low participation in projects. He explained that in 2025, he focused on stage performances, variety shows, and live streaming, which helped him gain exposure and connect with fans. While he admitted it was challenging to get film and television roles, he emphasized that he worked hard to stay active and grow in his career.
The actor also explained details about his birthday event, which some fans criticized as expensive. Tickets were priced at 880 RMB, which included nine hours of interaction, including face-to-face signing and stage performance. Lower-priced tickets were available for those who wanted only to watch the event. Yan An said he welcomes feedback if the experience did not meet fans’ expectations.
