CBS News has announced two new co-hosts for its weekend show “CBS Saturday Morning.” Veteran anchor and correspondent Adriana Diaz and business journalist Kelly O’Grady will take over the role starting this week. The announcement was made on Friday by CBS News. They replace longtime co-hosts Michelle Miller and Dana Jacobson, who were let go in October as part of company-wide staff cuts. The changes were planned before new leadership arrived at the network.

The weekend show has gone through several changes in recent months. These shifts come at a time when CBS News is facing criticism and public attention over recent editorial decisions and program updates. Some viewers and critics have questioned the new direction of major CBS news programs. Despite the challenges, CBS News leadership believes the new hosting team will bring fresh energy and balance to the weekend broadcast.
Adriana Diaz brings strong experience to the role. She has been with CBS News since 2012 and has worked in many important positions. She reported from Asia as a China-based correspondent and later worked out of Chicago. Diaz has also anchored “CBS Weekend News” and the now-canceled “CBS Mornings Plus.” She often fills in on “CBS Mornings” and is seen inside the network as a possible future successor to Gayle King.
Kelly O’Grady is a newer face at CBS but has a strong background in business journalism. She joined CBS News in 2024 as part of the MoneyWatch team, where she covered economic and financial news. Before that, she worked at Fox Business as a correspondent and fill-in anchor. Along with her new co-host role, O’Grady will continue reporting on business, technology, and the economy for CBS News.
In addition to hosting “CBS Saturday Morning,” Diaz and O’Grady will also rotate as co-hosts of “CBS Mornings 24/7,” the network’s daily streaming show. They will work alongside featured host Vladimir Duthiers. With their combined experience in news, global reporting, and business coverage, CBS hopes the new duo will strengthen its weekend and digital news offerings.
