Because of this, people sitting far from one end of the stage could hardly see Henry Lau. Another fan mentioned that even being in the front row did not guarantee a clear view due to the high stage and blocked screens. Some VIP ticket holders were also disappointed because their seating arrangements were changed after tickets were sold.
Henry Lau himself spoke about the problems during the concert. Addressing fans in English and Mandarin, he apologized for the situation. He said, “I hope no other singers, no other performers, will perform in this place again. It’s not anyone’s fault, it’s just not suitable for performing.” He also added that he had to move around the long stage to see everyone, which made it difficult to complete his setlist as planned.
Despite the challenges, fans still appreciated Henry Lau’s effort to engage with the audience. Many praised him for caring about their experience and trying his best to make sure everyone could see him.
