Lee called the negative stories “made-up” and criticized online commentators for spreading false information.
Addressing further rumors, Lee clarified that Wang had divorced and that claims about her having an 18-year-old son were false. He referred to Wang as his “wife” during interviews and stated that their relationship is genuine and stable. He also confirmed that he has met Stacey Long only twice and denied any impropriety, describing the magazine coverage as sensationalist and misleading. Lee expressed disappointment that a reporter he knew was involved in the story, calling the situation “sad” and “regrettable.”
