In 1992, Tom Bukovac moved to Nashville, Tennessee, hoping to find better opportunities. His decision quickly paid off. He started playing in touring bands for country artists like Lionel Cartwright and Tanya Tucker. In 1995, he auditioned to play guitar for country star Wynonna Judd and got the job. He toured with her for four years before deciding to focus fully on studio session work instead of touring.
A major turning point came in the early 2000s when Bukovac worked on Keith Urban’s album Golden Road. The album was a huge success, producing several number-one hits and earning multi-platinum status. After that, Bukovac’s career reached new heights. He went on to play guitar on more than 1,200 albums for artists such as Faith Hill, Sheryl Crow, Rascal Flatts, Vince Gill, Stevie Nicks, and Tom Petty.
