Gwyneth Paltrow Shares Awkward Moment Watching Marty Supreme NSFW Scenes With Son Moses

Gwyneth Paltrow recently shared a funny and awkward family moment while talking about her new movie Marty Supreme. The actress attended the film’s Los Angeles premiere with her 19-year-old son, Moses Martin, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin. While she was happy to have her son by her side on the red carpet, watching the movie together turned a bit uncomfortable during certain adult scenes.

During an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, Gwyneth explained that Moses clearly did not enjoy seeing his mom in intimate scenes on screen. She joked that he spent much of the time covering his face and trying not to look. According to Gwyneth, her son was not interested at all in those moments, making the experience awkward but also somewhat amusing in hindsight.

Gwyneth also revealed that she did try to warn Moses before the movie started. She told him ahead of time that the film included some mature content. However, she admitted that no amount of warning can truly prepare a child to watch their parents in such scenes. Even so, Moses stayed through the movie and later told her that he actually liked the film overall.

The Oscar-winning actress shared that this was not the first time she had faced an awkward family screening. She recalled taking her grandfather to a premiere years ago that included a topless scene. She remembered being nervous, but his relaxed reaction surprised her. Looking back, she wished she had come up with a similarly clever way to ease the moment with her son, but nothing came to mind at the time.

Despite the discomfort, Gwyneth said the experience with Moses was still special. She appreciated his support and was glad they could share the premiere together. She has also spoken positively about working with her Marty Supreme co-star Timothée Chalamet, saying he was professional and respectful on set. In the end, the night became a mix of humor, honesty, and a very real example of modern parent-child moments.
