Hong Kong and Taiwan-based actress Kate Pang recently shared a surprising incident involving her 10-year-old son. In a post on social media platform Threads, she revealed that her son was sued by a parent of a student at his school. The post, which has since been deleted, stated that “everything in the complaint is nothing but outrageous lies.” Pang hired a lawyer to protect her child from the lawsuit.
Kate Pang’s Son Faces False School Lawsuit Claims
The lawsuit was filed by the father of a female student in her son’s class. He claimed that Pang’s son had been bullying his daughter. Pang explained that conflicts between children often happen while playing and sometimes boys prefer to play with boys. According to her, the girl’s father repeatedly accused her son of bullying even though the school had confirmed that no bullying occurred. Other parents in the class also supported Pang, stating that no bullying had happened.

To defend her son, Pang collected all text messages exchanged with the teachers and the other parent. She described these as “a powerful weapon” showing her child’s honesty and good character. Pang emphasized that her family believes in honesty and integrity. She said she is not afraid because she knows her son has done nothing wrong. She believes her child’s character is clear for everyone to see.
The lawsuit names not only Pang’s son but also the school and the teacher, accusing them of ignoring the alleged bullying. Pang’s lawyer reviewed the case and said that the claims were one-sided and had no solid evidence. Despite attempts to contact the other family, they have not responded to her messages or calls. Pang remains calm and confident in her position, saying that even if the case goes to a second trial, she has done everything possible to defend her son.
