Local content creator Xiaxue, whose real name is Wendy Cheng, has responded strongly after receiving a lawyer’s letter from influencer Simon Khung, also known online as Simonboy. The letter accused her of making harmful statements about him and his newly launched Forever Megan Charity, created in memory of his late daughter Megan. According to Xiaxue, Simon is demanding compensation and wants her to remove several social media posts that criticised him.
Xiaxue Hits Back After Simonboy’s Legal Threats
Xiaxue shared screenshots of the lawyer’s letter on her Instagram Story. She said the letter was “long-winded” and claimed that she had made false statements about Simon’s career, his faithfulness to his wife, and his intentions behind the charity. She insisted that she never said some of the things he accused her of. The letter also stated that she mentioned Megan’s death in a way that was “abusive and insulting”, a point she strongly disagreed with. Xiaxue explained that she referred to the tragedy in a neutral, factual manner and did not intend harm.
In her posts, Xiaxue also criticised Simon’s past behaviour and parenting decisions. She said she only later learned that Simon had become a father at a young age and had spent time in jail for assault when Megan was still a baby. She also repeated earlier claims that he did not report Megan missing for months after his release from prison, even though the child was still alive at the time. These points were part of her wider criticism about whether Simon was fit to run a children’s charity.

Xiaxue further questioned Simon’s claim that her words caused him “severe distress”. She pointed out that, on the same day he claimed to be suffering, he posted cheerful Instagram stories showing himself shopping with his wife at a Toys ‘R’ Us sale. She argued that this did not match the emotional state described in the lawyer’s letter, calling his reaction exaggerated and inconsistent.

The dispute began when Xiaxue shared a Facebook post from former journalist Bertha Henson, who had questioned Simon’s role as a father. Xiaxue agreed with the criticism and added her own comments about Simon’s three children with three different mothers, accusing him of neglecting his first child for years. With tensions rising and legal threats involved, the conflict between the two influencers continues to develop, drawing strong reactions from the online community.
