Popular Tamil filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for directing blockbuster hits like Leo and Coolie, is now stepping into a new role as an actor. Lokesh is all set to make his acting debut in the upcoming action-packed movie DC, directed by Arun Matheswaran, the man behind Captain Miller. The film will also feature talented actress Wamiqa Gabbi as the female lead, while music will be composed by the hitmaker Anirudh Ravichander.

The makers officially announced the film on social media with a powerful title teaser. The teaser introduced Lokesh Kanagaraj as Devadas, a rugged and intense character walking with a blood-stained knife, hinting at a dark and action-filled storyline. His raw look, messy hair, and fierce expressions have created a strong buzz among fans. Wamiqa Gabbi will be seen playing Chandra, who is described as both mysterious and emotionally strong, opposite Lokesh’s character.
Director Arun Matheswaran, known for his gritty and stylized storytelling, seems to be creating another hard-hitting world in DC. The visuals in the teaser suggest that the film will carry his signature tone of raw emotions and action. Fans have been excited to see Lokesh, who has so far been behind the camera, now performing in front of it for the first time.
