Bigg Boss 19 host Salman Khan strongly criticized contestants Tanya Mittal and Neelam Giri for body-shaming actress Ashnoor Kaur. During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman confronted both contestants about their earlier comments. The incident came to light when a video was shared on JioHotstar Reality’s Instagram page, showing Salman exposing the duo’s rude remarks made behind Ashnoor’s back.
Salman Khan Scolds Tanya, Neelam For Body Shaming
In the episode, Salman asked Tanya and Neelam for their opinions about Ashnoor. Both praised her appearance, calling her “princess-like.” However, Salman interrupted and revealed that they had earlier called her names like “elephant,” “dinosaur,” and “balloon.” He angrily questioned them, saying, “Who gave you the right to say such things?” The host’s sharp response received support from the audience, while Ashnoor appeared visibly emotional and hurt by the remarks.
Ashnoor expressed her disappointment, saying, “Shame on you, Tanya.” Earlier, Tanya had mocked Ashnoor’s outfits, saying they didn’t suit her, while Neelam compared her to “Jurassic Park.” Their insensitive behavior quickly drew criticism from fans and fellow celebrities on social media.

Actress Gauahar Khan also spoke out against Tanya’s behavior. On Instagram, she said she initially thought Tanya was a sweet and entertaining contestant, but body-shaming someone proved otherwise. Gauahar added, “If you put others down to make yourself feel prettier, you’re not truly beautiful.” She highlighted that beauty means having a kind heart, not just a perfect appearance. Her message was widely praised for promoting kindness and self-respect.
