Director SS Rajamouli has confirmed that the song Pacha Bottesina, featuring Tamannaah Bhatia, has been removed from Baahubali: The Epic. The film, which combines both parts Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) is set to re-release in theatres on October 31, 2025. The makers have edited and trimmed several portions to make it a single, fast-paced cinematic experience for audiences.
Tamannaah Bhatia Song Removed From Baahubali Re-release
During a recent interview, SS Rajamouli explained that the new version of Baahubali: The Epic runs for three hours and forty-three minutes, instead of the original five-hour duration if both films were merged fully. He revealed that several scenes, including the love story between Avanthika and Shivudu and songs like Pacha Bottesina, Kanna Nidurinchara, and Irrukupo, were removed. Some war sequences were also shortened to make the narrative more compact and focused on the main story.
Rajamouli mentioned that the decision to cut these parts was made after test screenings with diverse audiences. He said, “Every scene in Baahubali carries emotion and depth, but for this version, we wanted a strong, story-driven flow. We collected feedback from viewers and refined it to its current length.” The goal was to ensure that Baahubali: The Epic delivers a seamless experience while keeping its emotional power intact.
The director also shared how the concept of merging both films into one began nearly five years ago. Initially, the team experimented with linear storytelling and shorter scene lengths, but it didn’t work as expected. After several trials, they finalized the current version by removing certain episodes and songs that slowed the story’s pace. Rajamouli added that fans can expect a refreshing viewing experience even if they have already seen both original parts.

Fans across India are eagerly waiting to witness this legendary saga once again on the big screen.
