Ikkis is based on the true story of India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra awardee, Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. The war drama highlights his journey from a young cadet at the National Defence Academy to a brave soldier who sacrificed his life during the Indo-Pak war. Agastya Nanda plays the role of Arun Khetarpal, portraying his courage, determination, and strong will to bring honor to his regiment and nation.

The trailer showcases powerful moments from Khetarpal’s life, including his training, his bond with fellow soldiers, and his undying spirit on the battlefield. It also features glimpses of a tender love story that adds emotional depth to the intense war scenes. Veteran actor Dharmendra appears as Khetarpal’s father, while Jaideep Ahlawat plays an army officer who admires the young soldier’s bravery. The film also features Simar Bhatia in a significant role, marking her impressive debut.

One of the most moving moments in the trailer is the recreation of Khetarpal’s final words: “No, Sir. I will not abandon my tank. My gun is still working.” These lines, spoken with unshaken resolve, symbolize the spirit of a true hero who fought till his last breath. The film aims to inspire young audiences by portraying the courage and sacrifice of a 21-year-old who became a national legend.
