Kunickaa Sadanand has been open about her personal life in the past. In an earlier interview, she admitted to having been in a relationship with Kumar Sanu during the 1990s. She revealed that it was a meaningful relationship that lasted a few years while Sanu was separated from his first wife, Rita Bhattacharya, though not officially divorced at that time.
Speaking about it, Kunickaa had said, “I have no shame in accepting that I was in a relationship with Kumar Sanu in 1993. It was good while it lasted.” She further mentioned that it has been 25 years since they parted ways, adding that Sanu has moved on, remarried, and is living happily with his family. Kunickaa emphasized that she and Sanu still have mutual respect and that their relationship is a closed chapter of her life.
