Shefali Shah, one of Bollywood’s most respected and talented actors, recently shared a personal story about a difficult time in her career. On Twinkle Khanna’s podcast, The Icons, Shefali revealed that years ago she was upset about not getting the work she deserved. She had gone to Twinkle Khanna’s house for support and was crying in her garden.

Unexpectedly, Twinkle’s son, Aarav Bhatia, was secretly recording her from behind the bushes. Shefali joked about the incident, saying, “Some people have a sex tape, she has a sobbing tape,” showing her ability to laugh at a past embarrassing moment. This incident, though awkward, became a memorable story in her life.
Shefali also spoke about her career decisions after the movie Dil Dhadakne Do. She consciously chose not to accept mother roles for actors only a few years younger than her, even when they were in popular films like Neerja and Kapoor & Sons.
